Glass Beams
Created in Mumbai in 1982, the original song is one of the earliest records to use the Roland TB 303 bass line synthesizer – the sound of acid house. Futuristic without intention, the album pre-dates the first acid house records of Chicago.

Kiasmos / II
All songs written by Ólafur Arnalds & Janus Rasmussen
When Kiasmos started out in the late 2000s, little did they know that their part-time supergroup would go stratospheric. It was the sound of two old friends from neighbouring islands striking out against the stark piano and electropop music that they were individually celebrated for and effusively sharing their love of Berlin-inspired beats. But their pairing blew up into a world-dominating live act whose music went on to define the decade.
Kiasmos are returning, renewed and restored, with ‘II’. It’s the triumphant follow-up to their universally acclaimed self-titled debut in 2014, which re-envisioned minimal techno with orchestral flourishes and weightless production. They’d made most of that album in just two weeks; this time it’s been 10 years. The making of ‘II’ was a test of their friendship, but also testament to how great musical chemistry can always go the distance and be just the same as it ever was.

Two Lanes / Innervision
Berlin-based electronic duo TWO LANES have returned with their latest offering, the “Innervision” EP, a four-track journey that seamlessly blends their signature melancholic electronica with newfound vocal elements. Brothers Leo and Rafa continue to push the boundaries of their sound, creating a sonic landscape that’s both familiar and refreshingly innovative. Throughout “Innervision,” the duo demonstrate their ability to create electronic music that feels deeply human. The brothers’ contrasting musical backgrounds – Leo’s classical piano training and Rafa’s electronic production expertise – merge to create something greater than the sum of its parts. It’s this synthesis of organic and digital elements that gives TWO LANES their unique identity in the crowded electronic music landscape. (source)

BICEP / CHROMA 004 ROLA
Bicep have unveiled “CHROMA 004 ROLA”, the latest single to be taken from their ongoing CHROMA project. “ROLA” is another statement track from the duo: stripped-back and raw, with a distinct UK flavor, it was written, quite literally, with the dancefloor in mind as the opening track for their epic CHROMA takeover of London’s mammoth 15,000 capacity Drumsheds venue at the end of 2023.
“We wanted something dark and heavy to play as our first tune, as a stark departure from the Live show,” explain Bicep. “It's exactly what we're wanting to achieve with CHROMA, a track written for the dancefloor with a specific idea in mind. It's a chance for us to stretch our legs outside a traditional album cycle and focus purely on music for us djing. It feels really refreshing for us to write music and play it out that same week. It's been really fun for us to let people hear a bit of a tougher sound from us.”
