Keleketla!

Keleketla! is an expansive collaborative project, reaching outward from Johannesburg to London, Lagos, L.A. and West Papua, “Keleketla!” started as a musical meeting ground between Ninja Tune cofounders Coldcut and a cadre of South African musicians (introduced by the charity In Place Of War), including the raw, South African-accented jazz styles of Sibusile Xaba, and rapper Yugen Blakrok (Black Panther OST). From those initial sessions, the record grew to encompass a wider web of musical luminaries, including Afrobeat architects, the late pioneer Tony Allen and Dele Sosimi, legendary L.A. spoken word pioneers The Watts Prophets, and West Papuan activist Benny Wenda.

"Rare funk & Avant- Garde soul from  a seven years old kid singer featuring best of French and cameroonian musicians , recorded in Paris in 1977.

“Look Up in the sky” ( Negro nature)  is a stretched funk groove with psyche synth by Michel Morose, bubbling bassline by the great Victor Edimo , the famous Toto Guillaume on guitar , and a brilliant poetic song by Francis the great who at that time studied in Menilmontant (Paris).

Originally produced by his father , a great impresario of African artists in Paris during the 70 ‘s and coordinated by her mother  , this album is unique, fresh and out of genre in a way ! It’s universal Funk !"

Όταν βγαίνουν τέτοια πράματα πρέπει να τα στηρίζουμε ως μπλογκ.
Και να πηγαίνουμε στις συναυλίες τους. Πού σκατά ήμασταν λοιπόν στις 14 του Δεκέμβρη του 16;
Τον έχω πετύχει μια φορά τον Mills στο Παρίσι, εντωμεταξύ, ζει εδώ αν θυμάμαι καλά.



Άν προσπαθήσει να κρίνει κανείς από τα σχόλια πάντως, το κοινό είναι διχασμένο.
